A useful example of how this could change your life
There will be websites you wouldn’t dream of getting your news from.
Rightly or wrongly, you’ve probably been influenced to think they stand for everything you despise.
That may well be the case, however maybe they offer facts you’re not aware of.
Whether it’s world news, sports, gaming, music, gardening, cooking, embroidery… you name it, there’s always some sort of politics involved!
An expert from one side will have an opinion and an expert from the other side will have a totally different opinion. This inevitably leads to a clash of egos and before you know it you’ll find there’s a full on domestic happening and “facts” get muddied and are hard to come by.
It’s not uncommon for the side presenting the “facts” to skew the context or omit vital information so it fits their narrative. In order to come to our own conclusions without being influenced by conjecture we need all the facts up front. We know mainstream media use these tactics all the time and some of the alternative news outlets are equally as bad so how can we obtain trustworthy data?
Let’s say you’ve been told the website “hatehope.com” stand for everything you oppose and all they do is write lies about an individual called “Steve Jaxley” (any similarities to real-life names are purely coincidental).
As a big fan of Jaxley, you wouldn’t dream of subscribing to their propaganda, you couldn’t think of anything worse than getting notified of all their new articles.
Well here’s the thing, what if you could add the hatehope site into your feedit app but only be notified of new articles that mention Steve Jaxley?
You could then read the facts given and compare to what you’ve been told on the official “Jaxley” website, maybe there’s inconsistencies? Maybe there aren’t but you’ll find “partial” facts are often given by one side (sometimes both) in order to defame the other party. This way you’ll be able to put the missing pieces of the puzzle together and see which side is telling the truth and which side is just straight out lying.
Imagine for one moment, how so many peoples outlook on life would be monumentally transformed if they had access to all the facts.
Facts which are reliable enough to formulate your own conclusion from, rather than come to a conclusion which has been manufactured and projected onto you from others with a clear agenda.
